Hiring is overdue for a new operating system.
AI is changing how people learn, create, and work. Hiring still moves like a maze of forms, filters, guesswork, and silence. We do not think that is inevitable.
The product you see today is our first way to work with real people, real applications, and real friction.
The larger company vision is AI research: systems that help applicants and recruiters understand each other with more clarity, less waste, and more truth. We want to build the tools, the community, and the open foundations for that future.
The problem
Better technology should not make hiring less human.
Applicants are using AI. Companies are using AI. But the bridge between them is still fragile. More automation can create more volume, more confusion, and more distrust if the system is not designed carefully.
We want both sides to gain leverage. A candidate should be able to present their experience with precision, not manipulation. A recruiter should be able to understand fit without reducing a person to a brittle score. The process should become smoother because it is more transparent, not because it hides more.
Equal advantage
Applicants deserve tools that help them speak clearly. Hiring teams deserve tools that reduce noise without flattening people into keywords.
Truth over tricks
We do not want AI to turn hiring into a better disguise machine. The goal is better context, clearer fit, and fewer hidden rules.
Open foundations
Some parts of this problem should belong to the community. We want to contribute open source tools, standards, and research artifacts as we learn.
This starts with applications. It does not end there.
We are building a practical product because research should touch reality. Every conversation, draft, tracker update, and recruiter workflow teaches us what the system needs to become. The long-term mission is bigger: help design AI-native work systems where people still have purpose, dignity, and financial upside after AGI.
